This was the view from our Redbird Club
seats in 2009. I like being on the first base side because you
are in the shade fair quickly (if you aren't under the upper deck)
AND you are close to Pujols paying first base. (Speaking of
Pujols, he's at the plate in this photo.)
Notice the arch cut into the outfield
grass. That was a new feature for the All-Star Game and they
kept it for the rest of the season. I think it is pretty cool
and would love to see it stay permanently!
Speaking of the All-Star Game, I know
it has to be rocking then, but the place to hang out before a game
is Kiener Plaza (on a line from the Arch away from the river) and
after the game, the Clark Street Grill (at the Westin) or Laclede's
Landing are the spots. |
