The outside, though nice, is nothing too
impressive. These banners are about the coolest thing I could
see. The park is bounded the by Ohio River, US Bank Arena
(hockey and soccer), a major interest highway, and the hole that used
to be Riverfront.
The surrounding area of downtown
Cincinnati is very nice though. I mentioned US Bank Arena, but
there's also a new football stadium and a Underground Railroad museum
that's under construction, plus lots of riverfront park areas.
The business district of downtown is just up the hill and hotel and
restaurant opportunity abound there. |
