The outside of the stadium isn't anything
to spend a lot of time looking at. It seems fairly functional,
with lots of entrances, but attractive it is not.
There was a pretty good crowd there that
day. The problem was there were way too many Twins fans there
for the Royals being the home team. I don't know if it is a
Minneapolis to Kansas City relocation thing or just that there are
that few loyal Royals fans out there, and I'm not sure that I
blame them. The Royals have been stinking it up for quite a
while. Long gone are the glory days of the 70's and 80's.
Of course this could have to with the ownership who won't spend crap
on getting some decent players. Again, can't say I blame the
KC fans for letting the Twinkies get rowdy in their own stadium. |
