Other than the large "crowned" scoreboard,
one of the most recognizable features of Kauffman Stadium is the
right field fountains. One of the neat parts of that, again
that helps create the close-to-the-action feel for fans, is that you
can walk right up behind the fountains as seen in the photo. Each half inning, while the defense is warming up, the fountains run through a variety of displays using music and some choreographed vertical jets. For a panoramic view of the field from this vantage point click here. |
