In recent years Busch Stadium has seen
some very nice renovations. The capstone of the renovation is
the new "old-time" scoreboard. They took out quite a few seats
to accommodate the manually operated scoreboard but it is really a
treat for a baseball enthusiast.
Some of the other improvements included the batters' "backdrop" (the
lawn the batter sees behind the pitcher), grass playing field that
replaced the Astroturf, and the bullpen was placed behind the outfield
wall instead of in foul territory. |
