The best way to get to Shea is via the
subway. $2 from anywhere and an easy ride. The number 7
line (purple) stops right at the stadium. This is your view as
you leave the platform and head across to the stadium. Shea is a typical municipal-style stadium, most of which are either meeting a wreaking ball or are scheduled to. Shea will be torn down soon as play will begin in the new park, Citi Field, in 2009. For more on the stadium you can view
