The best way to get to Shea is via the
subway. $2 from anywhere and an easy ride. The number 7
line (purple) stops right at the stadium. This is your view as
you leave the platform and head across to the stadium.
Shea is a typical municipal-style
stadium, most of which are either meeting a wreaking ball or are
scheduled to. Shea will be torn down soon as play will begin
in the new park, Citi Field, in 2009.
