The Ducks are more of a semi-pro team in the independent Texas-Louisiana League.  The owner of the Ducks actually owns all the teams in the league.

Actual the baseball is pretty pathetic at Price Cutter.  It amounts to nothing more than glorified D2 college ball.  But the entertainment value is why the Ducks have been fairly successful.  It is cheap entertainment for families.
