Rangers Ballpark in Arlington was one of
the early parks built in the "neo traditional", baseball-only style.
Finished for opening day 1994, the park seats almost 50,000 people
and is built next to the (soon to open new home for the Dallas
Cowboys) Texas Stadium, and Six Flags Over Texas. It is in the
middle of nowhere in Arlington, located right between Dallas and
Fort Worth. The outside of the
facility is quite large and impressive...in true Texan style.
They made sure you remembered you were in Texas as well by
stamping it all
over the outside. =)
Visit the Rangers
website for more information on the park. |
