While doing my research ahead of time
several recommendations indicated Tempe Diablo Stadium was one worth
going to. It fit well into our schedule and the location was
near our hotel so we booked tickets as soon as they became
available. In my mind the
setting was really unique and very Phoenix. Nestled in between
some granite desert buttes and the freeway (I-10) the park looks
like it has always been a part of the landscape. And to some
extent it has. It was built in 1968 but was extensively
renovated in 2005.
Our seats were on the third base side
just inside of the visitors dugout. We were in section 7, Row
T. Great seats! Click
