We found a great campsite the first night
(in the dark) and used it as camp for the next two nights.
Ok, follow closely, 'cause here was the
plan. Drop one car at Erbie. Camp Saturday night just
outside of Kyles. Sunday morning hike in Indian Creek area.
Head up to Slaty Place and drop down to Hemmed-In Hollow to meet Kate
and Nate (leaving from Compton) late afternoon. Hike the Old
River Trail back to camp at the same spot. Leave out Monday
morning and end up in Erbie. Collect cars and head home. |
