With some beautiful fall weather in order
we decided to check out a section of the Buffalo River Trail that we'd
never done before. Our other motivation was a low crowd factor.
We got it! We didn't see another sole the whole hike. In the interest of time we started at the County Road 25 trail intersection (about 2.2 miles from the Boxley trailhead) and headed to the next ridge past Arrington Creek. As you can tell the fall foliage was in full swing. Although we missed the peak by about a week the photos still turned out quite well. |
