I had mentioned...snow. Arkansas had also been hit with
several inches of ice. With that and days of freeze-thaw
action the trails were about three inches pretty solid ice; some
sections were really slick.
This picture is taken looking
downhill, but was an uphill on the way out. Slow going.
Total distance for the hike was
about 7 miles roundtrip.
