One of the most photographed rocks in
Arkansas, Hawksbill Crag (otherwise known as Whitaker Point), is a
landmark of the Buffalo River and a favorite hike among many.
We have been there several times and in a
few different seasons. Each has its own effect on the Crag
and the area. This photo was taken around late February.
We arrived at the trailhead around 10am to find an inch of snow
covering everything. Click
