We started at about 10:30am on a Saturday
morning from Compton and headed in to see Hemmed-In Falls. The
flow wasn't too spectacular, but they were all impressed with the
sheer height.
With our plan we didn't have a bunch of
time to spend climbing around. So we'll just have to do that
next time.
Our original plan, if everything went
perfect, would be to skip across the Old River Trail, up into Indian
Creek, and then back to Jim Bluff to camp. We didn't get an
early break and the weather heated up to near 90º so we stopped near
Kyles and didn't enter Indian Creek. |
