Once at the falls, though, the whole trip
is worth it. Hemmed-In Hollow is a very beautiful place.
It is a very narrow hollow with a pretty stream running through it.
The Hemmed-In Falls area is a really
neat place too. The photo depicts the "bowl" at the base of the
falls that has been carved out over time by water making the 211 foot
drop that makes the falls.
On the day we were there it had been
weeks since a good rain and the falls were barely flowing.
However it didn't stop Kate from enjoying her first opportunity to
play in the water. Check it out
here. |
