A great place to spend an afternoon, the
Pedestal Rocks / Kings Bluff area has lots of variety to offer
visitors--4+ miles of hiking trails, a 100 ft. water fall, great views
and some interesting rock formation. The area is controlled by the U.S. Forest Service--Dawson liked that! =) --and it is easily accessible from the highway. The trailhead to the area is six miles east of Pelsor (in the middle of nowhere). Click here for the Arkansas map. This is one of the views from the backside of the Kings Bluff trail. |
