It is a great place to hike even though there isn't a dominant feature or destination such as a rock formation, waterfall, or lake.  There are plenty of great views and interesting bluff line.

The trail, pictured here, is well-maintained and fairly easy.  The area is controlled by the Newton Co. Resource Council and they have developed a "visitor center" (with restrooms) at the trailhead.
