To get to "The Throne," you head through
the small town of Mt. Judea (pronounced Judy) and turn south on
Arkansas State Highway 123. In
1997 State Highway 123 was a gravel road with steep and sharp
switchbacks. In 2000 the road was paved but the switch backs
still remain.
After a long day of climbing a greasy
cheap dinner awaits in Mt. Judea at the Eagle Valley Cafe (in 1997
it was called Herb's.) |
