Wildlife is all over Busiek. If
you don't actually see one, you'll see the evidence of deer.
Fields (prairies) like this one are great places to spot wildlife.
In fact we were thinking the corn in the near-ground was planted for
the deer. Mel has spotted a
bobcat before and I had an encounter with a boar (or wild pig) right
next to the parking lot. It retreated up a hillside and my aim
with rocks is a bit better than is should be. Another warning:
boars charge when hit with rocks from pesky mountain bikers.
