A great little place to go hiking or
mountain biking, Busiek State Forest is located between Springfield
and Branson about 20 miles south of Springfield.
Busiek doesn't have a main attraction
(view, waterfall, rock formation, etc.) but is an over all pretty
place and is usually fairly vacant.
A lot of the trail in the state
forest resemble this spot on the trail following Woods Fork Creek.
