At the other end, the eastern side of the
natural bridge that spans the middle of the gulf, you can take a set
of 118 steps to the bottom. The view from above is quite
daunting. (The cave is visible to the right.) Unfortunately this short trail, a few views, and access down into the gulf (along with a few picnic tables) is about all there is to this state park. Hopefully, trails will be build in the future to allow visitors other options to get out into nature. |
