Roaring River State Park (Cassville, Missouri)

The other trail I've been on there is the Fire Tower Trail.  I've only hiked the first mile--from the spring to the fire tower; which I must say is a lame fire tower.  Of the towers I've been up in this one seems pointless.  It doesn't get above the trees and during leaf-on it would be impossible to see anything.

The hike to it is uphill for a while (about 400 feet elevation change in about ¼ of a mile) and then is a nice trek through the upland forest.  Worth a visit if you have the time.
