Rocheport To Easley, Katy Trail (July 2007)

By way of introduction, the Katy Trail is a 225-mile route across the mid-section of Missouri made possible by converting a former railroad bed into a remarkable asset to the state and the entire Midwest, especially for bikers

After our decision to ride various sections of the trail and take photos, this was our second time out.  We started at Rocheport (mile marker 178.3) and headed down to Easley (mile marker 162.5), a total of almost 16 miles.

This is a great section of trail and is highly used due in part to its location close to Jeff City and Columbia and with the draw of Rocheport nearby.  For more information visit official website.
