The capitol building itself is flagged by 2, two-story buildings.  One is the House, the other the Senate.  The landscaping is very desert, reflecting
Arizona.  Up next to the building there's even a chunk of petrified wood.  The building was constructed in 1898 but has been added to continually.

The House of Representatives building.  Looks like and basically is a 60's office building.  The state government sold the buildings a few years ago
to a private investor who leases them back.

House chamber.  In major need of remodeling.  That's just ugly and nothing that really adds character or reflects Arizona.

The 2-story rotunda is nothing impressive but is well preserved.

The seal lies on the floor in the center of the rotunda.

Not much museum space exists inside but I did think this was interesting.  These are a few of the flags that have flown over Arizona over the years.

A white statue of "Winged Victory" stands atop the building.  It is actually a wind vane.
