We typically look for a bed and breakfast, and let me tell you, Phoenix has some slim pickings.  They must not be as popular in Arizona as they are elsewhere.

However, the one we found was quite nice.  Our room was pretty affordable ($100 a night) and the family that owned/ran it were extremely nice.
