Cathedral Rock - Sedona, AZ (September, 2002)

After the steep, hot climb to the saddle you are greeted with shade, beautiful rock spires, fantastic views of nearly every direction, and a great sense of accomplishment.

Sedona is big into all that New Age crap, and the hippies have labeled all these Vortex sites.  (Whatever that is...)  Consequently, they always seem to be easy to reach and provide expansive views.  Anyway, this is one of their major ones, and I guess I can understand why.

The only vortex I saw was the one coming out of our water bottles as we chugged away once we reached the top!  =)
