Not only was it unstable it was fresh.
There is no telling how much longer that arch is going to be there.
The "debris field" below it was a mess. Lots of loose rock and
plenty of scars to prove that it was recent.
Many of the prickly pear cactus you see
has been up rooted by slides. Some of it, still green, shows
that it had
been ripped from its base very recently.
