Longs Canyon - Sedona, AZ (September, 2002)

 
Ok.  So we are hiking along.  We are on this remote trail.  We've hardly seen anyone since we started.  No highway sounds.  Nothing but dry, dead desert.  All of the sudden we round a bend and wallah--a beautiful, plush fairway.

Apparently the trail ran along the border of the wilderness area and that abutted a golf course...a nice one at that!

Rest assured though, once the trail entered the canyon the golf course was no where to be seen.
