I'm going to take serious issue with
the Forest Service and their estimate on this trail. It HAD to
be longer than three miles. It wasn't a step less than 3.5
miles; more like 4 miles. When we finally reached the end we were running low on water and Mel was not feeling well. And we still had to hike out. (The car was definitely a welcomed site, but we made it ok.) This is the end of the canyon. It was pretty spectacular and I could have spent hours exploring around in it.
