Near the end, the trail splits and one
route steps
down to the base of the natural bridge. There you can walk right
under the narrow bridge and stare straight up at 100's of tons of
rock hanging 50 feet above you. The trail is on the north side of the arch providing shade most of the day. Due to the short nature of the trail and the break you can get hanging out in the shadow of the arch this makes a good hike in the heat of the afternoon sun. |
