Montezuma & Tuzigoot Ruins, Verde Valley, AZ (September, 2007)

 
The first time we were in the Sedona we completely overlooked the well-preserved Native American ruins that dot the area.

Though they are not on the scale of what you might find at Mesa Verde or of incredibly significant historical value they are still very interesting and the NPS does a great job of presenting them.

This is Tuzigoot National Monument located just outside of the town of Cottonwood and is very easy to get to.
