Overview - Sedona, AZ (September, 2007)

What makes Sedona so spectacular is an incredible combination of a number of natural elements.  The exposed red rock spires punctuate the landscape while Oak Creek winds through the whole area cutting a scenic path through the pine and juniper forests.

Local efforts to preserve the views and still allow up-scale development have been successful.  And the whole community is very outdoor-oriented and concerned about preserving this setting.

Shown here is Midgley Bridge on Highway 89 north of town.
