When they opened in late 2005, the folks
at the Georgia Aquarium set a new bar for aquariums that has yet to
be reached by anyone else. In my opinion this is tops of the
list of best aquariums, just ahead of Monterrey Bay and Shedd (in
Chicago). It is the largest
aquarium in the world with over 8 million gallons of water and more
than half a million square feet of space.
The layout of the
Georgia
Aquarium is incredible; the displays are top-notch and the size
is almost exhausting trying to cover it all. |
