| The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 470 mile ribbon of two-lane roadway specifically designed as a automobile touring road that connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to Great Smoky National Park in North Carolina. With countless hills, hairpin turns, and bends, and a speed limit of 45 mph it is not about connecting one place to another for the fastest travel.
