On our last full day in the area we
decided to check out some waterfalls in the southern part of Pisgah
National Forest on our way down to Brevard. (From there we
headed back on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is a separate
slideshow.) The
Pisgah NF is really something pretty cool. The area is
just chocked full of waterfalls and several of them are pretty
spectacular!
That morning we headed out from our
cabin in Bryson City and took the highway to Waynesville. From
there we turned off on US Highway 276 which runs through the
National Forest almost the whole way to Brevard. |
