Our cabin was in Bryson City, NC, right on the southern border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 

Bryson City is not impressive.  We tried to be positive because we were spending 4 nights there but we never were.  The best part is it is on a nice 4-lane highway (US 74) to get out of town.

The restaurants we went to were awful (service was really bad too)--The Station Restaurant, Bar-B-Que Wagon and Yummi Yummi.  There wasn't anything worth seeing in the town like a neat downtown or anything.  Needless to say we were disappointed.
