A hike in the redwoods at Big Basin has
got to be one of our favorites.
Nestled in the a section of the Coastal Range between Santa Cruz and
San Jose, Big Basin Redwoods State Park is home to 18,000 acres of
Coastal Redwood trees. Though not as big as their Giant Sequoia
Redwood cousins these trees are still impressive and a hike in and
amongst them never ceases to put a kink in your neck from constantly
looking hundreds of feet in the air. |
