Everything from junk shops to high-end
retailers, from dimly-lit Irish pubs to exquisite seafood can all be
found on the street named Cannery Row or in the few blocks surrounding. The area was very clean and very friendly, although with the exception of a few bars and nightclubs the place does close up pretty early. The area looks historic but upon closer inspection most of this is just an act. Very few original buildings still remain from the cannery days. (And you can see why by looking at a few photos of those rickety hodge-podge buildings!) |
