Anywhere can be a house of God, but
the Protestant Chapel at the Air Force Academy is God's Presidential
Suite! =) Soft blue
light, lots of light, the surroundings of a pine forest seen through
the windows, the huge cross above altar and the magnificent pipe
organ combine to make this sanctuary truly incredible.
Absolutely beautiful. As a tourist spot the Academy as a whole
is weak, but the chapel is reason enough to make a trip to Colorado
Springs. |
