The only chapel I've seen that comes
close to this one is the Thorncrown Chapel just outside of Eureka
Springs, Arkansas. The Air
Force Academy covers thousands and thousands of acres in north
Colorado Springs and is largely pine forest at the foot of the
Rockies.
The setting is ideal for a chapel
with lots of clear windows. Somehow, full stained-glass
windows wouldn't have done the sanctuary justice. |
