We woke up Saturday morning (Sept. 8th)
to several inches of snow falling in the mountains above Colorado
Springs. Again, we were in
Cascade which was just a few minutes from CO Springs; west on
Highway 24 past Manitou Springs and just before the start of Pikes
Peak toll road. (Which, by the way, was closed because of all
the snow on the peak.)
Our room was the dormer on the 3rd
floor there. It was cool to sit there and watch it snow. |
