Aptly named, the Garden of the Gods is
the main attraction of Colorado Springs. The area covers
nearly 1,400 acres and is filled with large red rock "fins."
Controlled by the Colorado Springs Parks Department the area is free
to the public, has a nice visitor center, has a drive through the
entire length, paved walking trails, miles of hiking trails and even
allows technical climbing. Truly a gem of the city of Colorado
