Mel and I went to the park 3 times over
the weekend we were there (once Friday evening, once Saturday
afternoon, and once Sunday morning.) The evenings, near
sundown seem to be the neatest times in the park. The dramatic
shadows and reddish light from sunset seem to set the rocks ablaze.
The other nice thing is that the Garden
is right on the western edge of town. In fact Compaq, Intel,
Agilent, and MCI all have campuses within a half mile of Garden of
the Gods. |
