Texas State Capitol, Austin (December, 2001)

 
This is one of the nicest state capitol buildings to date.  (I still like Missouri's the best.  This one just didn't have the fountains that Jeff City does.)

The building is absolutely huge!  This is the backside of the building, but the grounds are well decorated front and back.  The large hedgerow in bottom middle of the picture is actually surrounding a large opening to a neat Texas seal and what looked like access to parking.
