Reimer's Ranch, Texas (December, 2001)

Here I am heading down the rappel we had setup.  It was about a 60' face with a bit of a ceiling (overhang) on the bottom 15'.

The whole area is great for climbing / rappelling.  First and foremost there are bolts everywhere--that makes for great top rope setups.  Secondly there are a decent amount of trees on the top of the bluffs.  That helps to setup rappels on the bluff faces that don't have anchors for climbs.  Finally the whole area is very compressed--no long hike with lots of gear.  All the climbing areas are real close to each other.
