Here I am heading down the rappel we had
setup. It was about a 60' face with a bit of a ceiling
(overhang) on the bottom 15'. The
whole area is great for climbing / rappelling. First and
foremost there are bolts everywhere--that makes for great top rope
setups. Secondly there are a decent amount of trees on the top of
the bluffs. That helps to setup rappels on the bluff faces that
don't have anchors for climbs. Finally the whole area is very
compressed--no long hike with lots of gear. All the climbing
areas are real close to each other. |
