After we finished up at the zoo, we headed
back to the hotel to clean up, change and head out to the game.
Our hotel was on the eastern edge of downtown Little Rock (near the
Clinton Library). The game, at Dickey-Stephens Park, was on
the west edge of downtown North Little Rock. The distance was
just over a mile so we decided to walk it, especially since part of
it was across this new pedestrian bridge, Junction Bridge.
The steps take you up over the raised
span and back down again. It is a
nice deck and
a very enjoyable route to walk. Of course we could have taken
the cool trolleys
that run between both downtowns but they stop fairly early on
Sundays regardless of whether or not there's a ballgame. |
