Located on an island in the Mississippi
River just off the Tennessee bank Mud Island is an important piece of
land to Memphis. It is home to an outdoor amphitheater, the
Memphis Belle fighter plane, a Mississippi River heritage museum and
the fantastic River Walk park. We spent quite a while (and I could have spent longer) wandering around the 5 block long exact scale-model of the mighty Mississippi. |
