Oklahoma City National Memorial, OK - (August, 2001)

We come here to remember those
who were killed, those who survived
and those changed forever.

May all who leave here know
the impact of violence.

May this memorial offer comfort,
strength, peace, hope and serenity.

A visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial is a visit you will never forget.  If you were alive during the days and weeks and months that all of America watched in horror and then rallied around our fellow citizens, you will not come away from this memorial unscathed.

My only advice is plan lots of time, and visit twice--once to tour the extremely well-done museum, and once on a calm quite night.

The rest of the slideshow is without text, in order to save the experience for you and to pay tribute to all affected.
