New York definitely has a plethora of
museums. We had originally intended to see the American Museum
of Natural History. But when they gave us a bunch of crap and
refused to take our ASTC membership (reciprocal relationship with
science centers around the nation), we decided on the Museum of Modern
Art. (There is also the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but we're
more into the modern era stuff).
When we arrived at where the tourist map said the MoMA was, we found
it was being renovated and had been moved temporarily to Queens.
A 15 min ride on the Local 7 subway got us there to see a great Ansel
Adams exhibit. |
