American Museum of Natural History, New York City (September, 2006)

A lot of the lower levels of the museum are setup as very well-done dioramas such as this one with the bison on the Great Plains.  Many of the scenes seem so life-like you are expecting to seem something start moving.

The whole museum is absolutely huge and can take a while to see all the great exhibits throughout.  In fact, all we spent our couple hours doing was the museum.  We didn't even touch the Rose Center, the IMAX or the Hayden Planetarium...not to mention the Butterfly Conservatory that would open a few days after we left.  To learn more check them out on the web by clicking here.
